From your process
to a plant
that works.

From initial requirements to commissioning, DIS supports industrial pilot plants, new facilities and the transformation of existing sites. Technical and operational coordination connects processes, buildings, utilities, suppliers and operations — with equipment integration and installation included where agreed.

Your industrial requirements

One overall view.
Clear technical decisions.

Structure engineering, procurement and execution to keep technical choices, budgets and interfaces under control through to start-up.

01 / PILOT PLANTS

Design and validate your pilot plant.

Turn a process into a testing facility: capacities, material flows, equipment, instrumentation and validation criteria.

02 / NEW FACILITIES

From requirements to a working facility.

Develop a coherent programme, organise design and supplier consultations, and coordinate interfaces and start-up.

03 / EXISTING SITES

Transform with continuity.

Adapt spaces, integrate new equipment and upgrade utilities while accounting for the constraints of existing facilities.

Industrial HVAC & energy efficiency

Control conditions. Reduce energy use.

Heating, ventilation, air conditioning and air treatment designed around process requirements. Assess heat recovery, heat pumps and controls to identify potential energy savings under defined operating and comfort conditions.

Engineering & project experience

From drawings
to installations.

Three examples from Sylvain Davrout’s work as an employee at Innovafeed. DIS is a business in preparation that builds on this approach; these are prior professional projects, not DIS client references.

Connecting engineering and execution.

Transform existing buildings into research facilities: organise spaces, develop equipment and integrate process utilities.

Sylvain’s role at Innovafeed covered project leadership and technical management, from design and supplier consultations to budget control, execution and commissioning.

GZ1/GZ2: rearing spaces, material preparation and injection, test containers, air treatment and monitoring. GZ3: a programme comprising six laboratories and 36 independently climate-controlled cages, with external construction coordination for the relevant work packages.
An operational approach

Design. Install. Make it work.

Technical design is combined with hands-on equipment integration. Depending on the agreed scope, DIS coordinates installation with suppliers and specialist contractors, reducing handovers between engineering and execution.

02 / Japan pilot — Design and development

Design the process.
Plan its integration.

Design work for an insect-rearing pilot plant: material preparation and distribution, rearing equipment and environmental control, with building, maintenance and utility interfaces.

Sylvain’s role included process architecture, equipment development and coordination with international partners.

03 / HVAC test rig — Design and testing

Measure before scaling up.

A container-based test enclosure coupled with an air-treatment skid to investigate environmental conditions and compare air distribution around equipment.

Thermal and airflow sizing, instrumentation, monitoring and test preparation bring design assumptions into contact with measurements.

Experience at Innovafeed. No quantified performance claim is made without a documented test protocol and reference conditions.
Three ways to start

A defined scope.
Practical deliverables.

01 / ASSESSMENT & SCOPING

Build a clear basis for decisions.

Review requirements and existing conditions, identify constraints and compare technical scenarios.

Deliverables

A scoping brief, an initial investment estimate, priority risks and a roadmap.

02 / DESIGN & PROCUREMENT SUPPORT

Prepare for execution.

Define the architecture, layouts and interfaces between processes, buildings and utilities.

Deliverables

Design documentation suited to the project stage, tender documents, bid analysis and a consolidated budget. Process flow diagrams and P&IDs where required.

03 / PROJECT MANAGEMENT & INTEGRATION

Coordinate through to start-up.

Integrate and install equipment within the agreed scope. Coordinate suppliers, contractors, budgets, schedules and technical interfaces.

Deliverables

Shared project reporting, acceptance preparation, a test plan and handover to operations.

Each assignment can be commissioned separately. Scope, responsibilities, schedule, deliverables and fees are defined in the proposal. Project management alone does not constitute a turnkey construction commitment.

Design ↔ Execution

Connecting drawings with the site.

Bring designers, suppliers and contractors together. Check interfaces on site, resolve discrepancies during execution and record technical decisions.

Frequently asked questions

Planning your industrial project.

Where do you work?

Based in Île-de-France, France, and available to travel according to project requirements.

Can we start with a single phase?

Yes. An assessment or design phase can be commissioned independently. Subsequent phases are decided on the basis of requirements, budget and deliverables.

How are energy savings assessed?

Baseline consumption, production conditions and the comparison protocol must be defined before a quantified saving can be stated.

What should I share initially?

Your objective, location, current project stage and target date. Sensitive process details can wait until an appropriate confidentiality framework is in place.

Your next step

What do you
need to build?

A process to test, a site to transform, air conditioning to adapt or energy use to reduce: let’s start with your specific requirements.
